Great OP-ED! Maybe President Bush will finally get some recognition for his fundamental shift in America’s strategic foreign policy in the ME.

wherein he explains to me, succinctly, the reason Katrina et al can never be moved by Saddam’s and jihadist atrocities. If one simply dismisses the Holocaust and communist murder as unimportant, then it follows that argument on rational grounds will never succeed with them.

I think this is why George Bush is perceived as a greater threat than militant Islam because Bush has opened our eyes to the hypocrisy of the Left, the internationalists, the one-worlders, the UN and ICC lovers. And, to add insult to injury, the van den Heuvel’s of the world are being rebuffed. They believe it’s suppression by intimidation whereas, in reality, they’re simply being disagreed with.

Katrina’s world is crumbling and it’s all Bush’s fault. Fine with me.

I met Syrians in the know who admitted that the fear of American power, and the example of American forces flushing Saddam Hussein out of his spider hole, now drive Syrian policy. They hang on George Bush’s words in Damascus, I was told: the rulers wondering if Iraq was a crystal ball in which they could glimpse their future.

Gee, who saw that coming? Oh yeah, just about everybody here.

After unlike so many of the people bitching and moaning out there, this is his area of expertise.

Galloway said the worst day of his life was the day the Soviet Union collapsed. And for years they disappeared people without any real bellyaching from the likes of George and Katrina.

If either one of them had their way Saddam would be still be cutting off people’s tongues, so why should I care what they think?

If they will believe anything these folks tell them then they are too stupid to worry about.

This apparent decline in his former star quality came soon after the fall of the USSR which he completely missed and which rumor had it, he had to read about in the newspapers.

For years he was the go-to guy when the nets wanted someone with credentials to tell us how the Soviet Union was so far ahead of us that we could never hope to catch up never mind surpass, etc. His academic stutter was perfection itself, but if he ever said anything sensible, I didn’t hear about it.

It would hard to find two more clueless people.

The real problem is that these useless creatures do not know the ‘meaning’ of words.Katrina who frankly requires years of serious therapy in order to process a coherent thought,has no clue what ‘intimidation’ really means in the REAL world.

In too much of the real world(ie.much of the planet outside Manhattan),’intimidation arrives to the sound of boots in the street,a vicious beating by means of introduction,and more than credible threats against anyone or anything you might happen to value.I wonder how long Katrina would last against true ‘intimidation’of which she now believes herself a victim ?

By using these stupid rote phrases she denigates the courage and suffering of those who really are ‘intimiadated’.

Plus she looks like she’s auditioning for a Ramones cover band.

Can America survive such LOVE for our military?

Katrina makes me want to throw up. How she deserves that type of forum on ABC and other places, I just don’t understand. That kind of talk gets more Americans killed, and she doesn’t care as long as it makes Bush and other Republicans suffer politically.

Oh yes, one more thing. People like her–people critical of the Administration–are being “intimidated” into silence. That statement was the most precious.
