		<description>I don&#039;t want to be pessimistic, but I suspect a whole new generation or two will be required before there is a peace. No one has yet won or lost, and the effects of war propaganda are still engrained. Nor do I see the Palestinian leaders vying to promote peace, quite the opposite, and even if a majority were tired of war, I don&#039;t see how they could overcome the power of the armed factions. So put me down as a pessimist. &#039;Course, I don&#039;t win all that many bets, either. This one I would be happy to lose.
