Hi Everyone…

DennisThePeasant’s back in his beloved Ohio

Doing serious red-express time in search of filthy lucre (I’m a Republican, why else?).

First things first. The picture above should not be construed as the beginnings of a nascent neo-con “Axis of Evil” (Roger being the party of the third part, of course). It just so happened I had business to attend to in L.A. and Roger was kind enough to invite me for dinner and a movie, which I accepted, and then it just so happened that Charles stopped by to see Roger. I can sum everything up this way:

1) I enjoyed howling though Team American in a theatre filled with L.A. liberal weenies who really were, at times, laughing in spite of themselves,

2) I enjoyed some great sushi, and

3) When I get my picture taken with Charles Johnson by Roger L. Simon…well, I’m about as far out of my league as I’ll ever get. I had to get back to Columbus quickly just to make sure I didn’t bring down the company to my level.

Second things second. First, I want Goof to know that I did indeed bring that rain. Had I let out a really maniacal laugh Saturday night, you would have had lightning too. But Team America left me in too good a mood. You cannot summon up lightning with “Dirka dirka mohammed jihad dirka”. Second, Richard McEnroe…next time I’m there, you’re on. Third, Fresh Air…I may had Ethel Merman’s looks (and I do), but what the picture fails to properly convey is my Buddy Hackett-esque physique. And for that, I will be eternally grateful to Roger!
