I love Mark Steyn. He always makes me laugh, even when things are not funny. Even when they are depressing.

Roger,

If you're going to have a best quote of the day contest there need to be two divisions.

Best quote of the day: Mark Steyn Division.

Best quote of the day: anybody else.

Just a thought, but that guy gets it done every single day.

Of course, I also read this blog every single day...twice...or more.

Personally, I prefered this "compare and contrast" point from the same article:

So, on the one hand, we have hundreds of living veterans with chapter and verse on Kerry's fantasy Christmas in Cambodia, and, on the other hand, we have a guy who's been dead 20 years but is still capable of operating Windows XP.

Steyn's one liner is great but the headline is wrong. CBS wasn't fooled by the Kerry Campaign. This was planned beyween Rather and the campaign.

Proof?

Robodopes Edwards and Harkin were out witn prepared statements concerning Bush's "need to address the documents" less than 12 hours after the broadcast. Slimebot McCauliffe was using the docs to call Bush a liar on national TV within the same timeframe. It's not dispositive but show me where the robodopes and the slimebot have gone off script before.

This was cooked up by the Kerry camp and fed to the DNC/MSM outlet of choice with the Globe in on the story before the broadcast. Read the first Globe article and note the time it took them to get this in print. They "beat the competition" because Kerry had spoon fed the info prior to the broadcast.

The Kerry campaign scripted, directed and promoted this forgery and CBS wasn't gullible - they were co-conspirators as was the Globe.

Kerry wants the job where the buck stops. This buck stops with him.

John Forger Kerry

There's nothing he won't do for your vote.
