BTW on Wednesday at the checkout (grocery store) I mentioned something about the Iraqi team to the checkout gal and also about the Iraqi bloggers.



She asked me &#039;Are they grateful?&#039; I answered &#039;You bet!&#039; and she smiled and said it&#039;s all okay then.



That was it.



I read a good year ago, don&#039;t remember who said it, that all the American people need to know is that the Iraqi&#039;s are grateful.



The New York Times must sense that because they&#039;ll be damned if they&#039;ll show any gratitude or warm feelings from a single Iraqi. You&#039;d think out of 25 million Iraqi&#039;s the Old Bitty could find at least one who isn&#039;t shooting at our guys.
