In any case, I think he meant that one should tell plausible lies. Not blatant garbage like what G.L. Alston’s attempting here.
Lenin also said this:
“A lie told often enough becomes truth.”
But as for “plausible lies”, the Left’s audacity is limited only by the relative strength of their opposition. IOW: the more they can make us cower with their relentless accusations of “racists!” and “Nazis!”, the more audacious the lies they will push.
