“Does that mean, as Marianne said, that Newt is “morally unfit” to be president of the United States?”

According to the collective wisdom of our media overlords the two greatest Presidents of the last 50 years were John F. Kennedy and William Jefferson Clinton – both serial adulterers. Now if the serial adulterers Kennedy and Clinton were such great Presidents, and the serial adulterer Bill Clinton is still such a highly regarded political figure, then don’t we owe it to ourselves to consider the upside of electing our own serial adulterer? By all accounts neither George H.W. Bush nor George W. Bush were serial adulterers and look how their Presidencies turned out. Perhaps we’re focused on the wrong qualifications or disqualifying the wrong candidates? Maybe we should start understanding that the media is trying to kill off our candidates and quit playing along with the “Serial adulterer for me but not for thee” punchline.
