The really, really depression part is that the opposition to Obama’s bolsheviks is just as self-serving, disorganized, and inept as were the White Russians. We have all the “nice” Republicans who continue to call a bunch of communist SOB’s their “friends.” We have candidates who couldn’t say s&*t if they had a mouthfull of it. We have a substantial portion of what should be a Republican/conservative coalition united against the communists hewing to a certifiable lunatic who might as well be in the pay of the communists. Every Republican/conservative assemblage turns into a circular firing squad as some effin’ idiot starts screamin RINO. The calculus is very simple: the Obama Junta and whoever funds it and calls the shots are enemies of America and the enemies of our enemy are our friends. Other than Ron Paul whose loyalties I distrust, I will support ANYBODY who isn’t Comrade Obama for the Presidency, and if by some quirk of fate, Paul became the nominee, I’d probably spend some time cleaning my guns, but I’d go vote for him too.

But all that said, the White Russians at least go a little help from the US and Britain, and they got to emigrate to The West with at least some of their money and sit in fashionable Paris cafes sipping espresso or wine and talk longingly of restoring Russia. We Americans have no one to help us and nowhere to go; this is the hill we die on if we cannot unite and prevail.
