Let me put it this way.

Let’s imagine a future America where ObamaCare is the law. And your grandson or granddaughter is on your knee, asking what you did to try and stop it. Are you going to feel proud when you say, “I figured my CongressCritters had already resigned themselves to losing their seat, so I didn’t even lift my finger to dial the phone or send an email to them.”

If you would find inaction a source of pride, then by all means, spend the rest of your life on the sidelines.
