Which is why my gut reaction is to reach for a rifle.

Because first they decide to “redeem” you by sending you to the Labor Camp, THEN they rationalize the reason they decided to send you to camp later…if anyone who is not yet in, and is unable to be sent to a Labor camp, should bother asking.

Admittedly, I’m being hyperbolic,(at least I HOPE so), but the place to stop a totalitarian tyranny is in its’ infancy, when it is weak and can only manage to call you names for “needing redemption”.
