I was thinking that this would be McCain’s “October Surprise” but then I saw McCain saying almost exactly the same thing eight years ago on Chris Matthew’s Hardball (Tom Brokaw brought it up in yesterday’s Meet the Press interview). Then it suddenly made sense – both McCain and his running mate are really robots that are programmed to reverse their positions and others, in an attempt to confuse the voters.
