It really does take a “village” to raise a child: some group of concerned adults who personally know and care about the child. Where Mrs. Clinton got the idea that the U.S. government and a village are analogs, I can’t imagine.

Similarly, where she (and the rest of her party) get the idea that central planning is really just like the free market – after all, the planners are free to do stuff, right? Just like the market? – is beyond me. As is how they ignore central planning’s universal and repeated failures. Sigh.
