Soldiers (and probably Marines as well) are told that the media they encounter on the battlefield are not the enemy. Such a blanket statement is not always true, but it is what we are told.
How refreshing it would be to have J schools tell would-be reporters that US Army Soldiers, and USMC Marines they encounter in the course of their lives are not the enemy.
