“Well then, the remedy is obvious: End Medicare and let the elderly go to the charity hospitals #105 seems to favor.”

Do you have any idea how much charity care was squeezed out of the system by the introduction of Medicare? Please, you showed you were stupid, you don’t have to prove you’re ignorant as well. Maybe you should consider reading something not on the revisionist history list of your leftist pals or professors. I know for a fact that there were thousands of patients who were paying not one cent for treatment years ago, and when the Medicare regulations went into effect it became impossible to both give away service based on the standards of the institution and receive Medicare funding at the same institution. Worse still, if you were not approved to receive or chose not to receive Medicare, insurance companies took you off of the approved institution list.

So, go ahead and show everyone you’re stupid enough to think this sort of federal boondoggle is a good thing, but don’t bother trying to make mocking points when they just prove that you haven’t any clue as to what the real history of federal extortion in the medical field has been ever since the sixties.

have a nice day
