We know that if Palin was such an unqualified choice, the media wouldn’t have attacked her so furiously. They reserve this level of hatred for people like Clarence Thomas, Dick Cheney, Carl Rove, and Condaleeza Rice. And we know how damaging those individuals were to liberals.

All this screaming hysteria has done is galvanize the conservative base behind her and McCain.

The left is scared s***less that Palin may present a very viable alternative to the liberal “successful woman”. The last thing they want is a conservative woman who may serve as an inspiration to women voters, not to mention a woman that moderate and conservative men will vote for.
