Umm, sorry guys, but it’s been Republicans and neocons in general who have been suffering from “RDS” lo these past several years — “Reality Denial Syndrome”: about Bush not being an utterly dishonest, grossly incompetent President that you were completely suckered into voting for, especially the second time around; Global Warming being only a theory among many foisted by liberal scientists; how invading Iraq was for fighting terrorism ‘cuz ex-Reagan buddy Hussein had all these WMD’s and connections to al-Qaeda; that giving up privacy and “essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety” makes total sense; and McCain relinquishing his choice of friend Joe Lieberman for VP under party pressure in favor of a little known, and poorly vetted (as it’s turning out to be more and more the case despite all the BS denials to the contrary) female governor actually shows conviction and ready-to-lead-the-country competence….
