DonnaV, I’d come with a correction here – not masculinity, but NORMALCY.
In the current cultural climate, where the media & entertainment eastablishment is full blast inflicting a new type of political correct reality, everything that has a semblance of normalcy is derided and and anything that in a normal society would be considered an aberration is promoted as an edifying model of behavior.
The normal men are things of the past – now effeminate fops have became of standard of normalcy, and, as N&T mightily illustrates this, these creature are not only just some effete fops, but are also a collection of character flaws as well: arrogance, supeficiality, cowardice, you name them.
