Ok, I am no fan of President Obama, and I especially dislike way he has larded his administration with hard core leftists. But the bit about criticizing the US Constitution is off base. Read the link. He states, correctly, that the US contitution mainly limits the power of government. I would hardly call that a criticism, it is what we all LOVE about the constitution. And he says that the Warren court interpreted the constitution that way (which I must add is a good thing). He is simply saying that the civil rights movement did not focus on wealth redistribution. Don’t take my word for it, or Roger’s word for it. Read the link.

The President seems to think that it is too bad that the civil rights movement did not devote any energy to wealth redistribution. Here, as in many cases, I disagree with him. But again, this is hardly an attack on the constitution.

If we want to effectively oppose the excesses of the Obama administartion, we have to guard our credibility closely. We have to avoid playing fast and loose with the record. Leave that tactic to the leftists, they need it. We should be fine sticking with the truth.
