Does she actually know anything about these two? My guess would be that she knows perfectly well about Mao, but likes Mother Teresa simply because it is considered proper by the cool guys to do so. There is something about violence and tyranny in the name of an abstract ideal that gives leftists a frisson, that sends a tingle up their leg as it were. Given a choice between the humble benevolence exhibited by Mother Teresa and a brutal, socialist tyrant, leftists almost invariably will choose to extol the latter.
