Can’t say much about this. It is my understanding that former 1st ladies had fewer staff members and a few recent ones had only 2 or 3. Once a person gets the power, it is difficult to control the entitlement urge and there is absolutely no thought given to those in need, except to spend more of the taxpayers money on them to guarantee the votes.
