“You don’t understand the power of the arts and the impact it should be having EVERYWHERE to innovate and be the change agent the general public…” Oh, I DO understand the power the arts can have. But when you say the impact it SHOULD have… According to whose agenda?

Any artist or band of artists can express whichever political point of view they wish -that’s free speech. But when an artist groups’ political views are promoted, even directed by the White House to advancie a specific political agenda, it becomes propaganda. And to do it on MY TAX DOLLARS is illegal.

When the government promotes specific artists, not for their art, but for their political value, it ceases to BE simply art, and becomes a tool within a politically motivated propaganda machine, akin to that used by the Soviets.
