Hmm, public toilets – no history, no design, no architecture, nobody decides where they’re built or how, nothing specific to different cultures about them, nobody ever behaves in any interesting or strange way in there, there’s never been any politics associated with them (not even cute little English campaigns for “more public loos”), they have no relation to gender whatsoever.
