I’m glad to see the articles on Pajamas Media are pulling no punches on Ted Kennedy.
His behavior over far too many years in power was such that he doesn’t deserve clemency.
He was not a gentleman in his treatment of opponents. If he could harm them in any manner that was all that mattered. I think he truly believed he was a better human being than they, even with the abuses of power, alcoholic buffoonery, and serial infidelities. And then there was Chappaquiddick.
He was a plotter and a schemer. I don’t understand why he wasn’t charged with treason for clandestinely approaching the KGB during the Cold War to suggest some secret contact to oppose President Reagan’s foreign policy.
The President is constitutionally responsible for U.S. foreign policy.
I’ll always remember him as a “happy” drunk, clumsily bellowing a Spanish song on a Spanish-language radio, trying to work his latest scheme: Immigration Reform. I actually felt sorry for him on that occasion.
Today, I’m sorry for his family, but I can think of nothing good to say about the man.
Best for me to shut up; you keep doing what you’re doing:
Speaking the Truth.
