#1 – David Thompson – You’ve hit the bulls eye. I have relatives, extremely well educated and successful who look at me as if I’m nuts. They can not and will not believe that things like this could be perpetrated by Barry Soetero and his cohorts because “he’s so intelligent” and nice. “He just went to church, he didn’t agree with his reverand.” I’ve just about given up.

My new response is just to tell them that I believe that the wealthy should be taxed at a much higher rate, old people have no right to health care and that a government bureaucrat can make better decisions than they can, the US is to blame for all of the world’s ills, racism is their fault, as they are “the man”, etc., etc. It seems to confuse them and force them to confront some issues.
