I can give you an example of libs pulling the same crap in a non-racial situation.

Our police officer son was the first officer on the scene in a armed-intruder, home invasion. He arrives on the scene. Unable to get a response at the front door, he looks through a bedroom window (with security bars on it). Two individuals are on the floor fighting: one of the individuals is straddling the other and holding a gun at his head. Neither of them will respond to his shouts and pounds on the window. He shoots the one who is holding the gun at the head of the other.

Turns out the guy with the gun was the homeowner. The guy survives surgery. He sues our son personally and the city for $5,000,000. He doesn’t get a dime, thank God. The police agency was anxious to settle, but our son absolutely refused. As he pointed out, if that guy gets one thin dime, it indicates that the police action was wrong, and it was not.

In that case, the homeowner thought that the cops should just “know” he was the good guy. Excuse me? Not that simple.

It doesn’t take a lot of common sense to know that if you’ve called the cops, you might want to pay attention to their pending arrival, and not be the one holding the gun to the head of someone else when they do.

The thought processes of libs are amazing to behold, a little nauseating to try to comprehend and like taffy and molasses if you have to actually try to interact with them.

It’s the same process with Prof. Gates. He thought the cops “should just know he was a good guy” and, because they didn’t, and proceeded with normal police procedures, wow: EVERYTHING THEY DID WAS RACE-BASED.
