Commentor ADIOS remarked about Obama satirically writing a book and the end line being, “no black man will ever succeed as president”. Well ADIOS, I have empathy for many of your comments, save the last one. Obama is NOT BLACK, nor IS HE WHITE. He is BOTH, ergo…Bi-racial, a fact eagerly overlooked, rarely mentioned and dismissed by many. Therefore, a Black person may yet arise politically to hold the nation’s highest office. What might be a stumbling block for that person be it a man or woman, would be the “African-American” label given to Obama, and that would very possiby put many non African-American voters off, costing a potential candidate his/her chance at obtaining Presidential status.
That having been said, I am truly troubled by the arrogance, thinned skinned personality and ego of this man, a man a politician with Chicago street thug politics as his background.
The Honeymoon of the 1st Black President/African-American President and his wooing of the masses who feel disenfranchised and feel that the wealth and hard earned pay of others should be shared with them; is quickly going to wear off, and they will wake up to the reality that not only Obama is a failure but the majority of the Democratic party and a fair number of Republicans also are failures along with him.
Keep in mind, this Democratic administration has truly epitomized to the nth degree, the mantra, so adored by them…that is to “TAX and SPEND”, and if the American people don’t see this, they deserve what they get should this President get his way.
Most importantly, he be thwarted in his attempts to turn this great nation into a third world nation because he feels that past injustices and racism(yes this country has its share of racism-from all sides)require a socialist/communist form of government so everyone would be equal…except him, his political cronies and elitist ilk.
