I work for a large company which as large companies do follow the zeigest. Diversity is our most important feature, don’t you know? Of course, we must all bow to the new idol. Unfortunately the boss tried to justify diversity with a report that diversity improves the bottom line. That drool was met with the contempt that it deserved.

Somehow the diversity folks do not understand that the split is not on trivial differences such as skin or country of origin but on values. If you hold those despised middle class ethics then you fit in at least where I work and live.
