Exactly so. Exposure of the truth in darkness is dangerous business, as we’ve seen with the unprecendented attacks levied against a miraculously normal person.

The left cannot acknowledge her accomplishments without causing that light to reflect on their own failures. They don’t dare admit that she’s smart and savvy, without that light exposing their own lack of true intelligence.

She makes them uncomfortable because she’s so very ordinary. Most Americans can actually relate to her family: a teen pregnancy, a disabled child, a son in the military. A husband with a blue collar job.

Can any of us really relate to Obama? Born in Kenya, raised in Indonesia by a muslim until his early teens, then finishing out his impressionable years at the knee of a known communist/pornographer? Add to that the fact that his father was a black African and his mother was a white communist (neither of them lovers of America), that both of his white grandparents who raised him were admitted communists, and that he was never actually raised by a black relative who could impart on him the meaning of being a Black American, and what do you have? There is nothing genuine or authentic about him. He has spent his entire life creating himself.

So of course Sarah Palin is a threat. She doesn’t speak in nonsensical florishes of Double Speak; she has a very down to earth Alaskan accent and she’s not ashamed of it. She’s blunt and direct. Heaven forbid we should have someone who actually just says it like it is!

One of the most important rules of the left, via Political Correctness and Alinksy: Attack and insult. It doesn’t matter if the attacks have any credence. Just keep on attacking. Insult, even if it’s repulsive. And then make sure you lie, lie, lie. Every anti-Sarah sentiment expressed in these threads follows this rule.
