I posted an observation on the passing of Rauschenberg that my brother, an artist, did not much care for. Alas, I’m still hopeful that his passing will mean the passing of postmodernism as an art movement. This is one of the reasons why I have set up THe Emerson Institute for Freedom and Culture — to help us move past postmodernism and the nihilism it embraces.
