(Interesting to note that when he’s talking about things that matter to him, he can be perfectly clear. It’s only when he’s talking about alien ideas like heritage, the Constitution, value of human life and faith, etc. that he stutters and needs TOTUS.)

Well, of course he needs TOTUS. Heaven forbid he “slip” and say something like, he’s going to redistribute wealth, the constitution is a document of negative liberties or the Warren court didn’t go far enough. things most “flyover country american’s” (even those of us on the coast) would disagree with.
