I was graduated from Cushing Academy in June of l938….yes, I’m 90 years old. I am astounded at Cushing’s reason for eliminating a library but suspect I know the real reason. For me and for my late wife, Cushing graduate of class of l939, and for many classmates the library was also a great trysting place (hard to come by in Cushing days of yore) and someone must have recently discovered that fact!!! A shame…
