As a Marine, I certainly understand the change in reaction to the President, but it really does bode ill for our country that the military is willing to be so political. When I came in the military in the mid 80′s it was still considered improper to express a political preference in public or even when subordinate Marines were near. Nowadays political opinions are given quite freely. I’m not sure that’s a good thing. In fact, it’s a dangerous thing.
