Democracy is being destroyed in favor of socialism. The problem with socialism, and there are many, is that it fails when it runs out of other people’s money to spend. At the current rate that could be 2010. Will we be able to stop it once it starts. We need to get the American people to see it now and not later. Blogging here does not help unless we get out there and involve the American people and our representatives now.
As for intent or incompetence. I believe it may be intent. It appears too well orchestrated. If we all get pulled down to nothing, he may believe that new wealth could rise out of the devestation. I’m not so sure.
As to if the people would resist, I cannot tell. Certainly the “liberal press” helped to put Obama in office and they are blindly still following. Unless we can convince or stop them it may be that Emoperor Obama can pull it off.
