Lets be real here…. Americans are being told we must adhere to the law, when it comes to enforcing our immigration laws so that we do not commit profiling or discrimination. Yet when we want laws enforced to secure our borders we are told to demand such is racist. We have been told it is impossible to enforce the law & secure the border. Yet our government has no problem enforcing every other law. We are told the border is more secure than ever before, and this ‘might’ be true. However, telling me you are doing 30% of the total job & I should accept that as success, is asinine in the extreme. DHS admits in a 2009 report they capture only 30% of the illegal traffic going through our legal port of entry checkpoints. They cannot keep up because Agents are pressured to pass as many vehicles through as is physically possible & in doing so our people are overlooking many illegal entries. If we need more checkpoint gates & Agents, then hire them & build them. But do not force more through while sacrificing actual inspections.
This issue has only recently been revealed as an effort by some on both the left & the right, to pacify their agenda. Their agenda is providing the slave labor for many industries on one side while providing future voters for the other. (Obviously some assume Latinos are stupid & will only vote as a group for just one party since they are too stupid to question ALL policy issues prior to voting, not just one issue.)
No matter what you have been told, the southern border is NOT secure. There is little fencing so no one can say it does not work since its not there. With no fence one cannot condemn fencing as ineffective. Only 34 miles of the originally approved double layered fencing was ever constructed. The rest is chicken wire & well spaced vehicle barriers.
Its not just the initial crime of illegal entry that’s the problem. Its all the additional crimes to stay here, work here, obtain social services here, obtain illegal drivers licenses, obtain forged documents of all sorts. These are all serious crimes added onto the original small crime. Most criminals start out petty & then graduate onto significantly more serious crimes. Identity theft in America is our fastest growing crime & the vast majority of those crimes are directly related to, illegal aliens!
No matter how this turns out, one day in the future, whoever are Americans then, will rue the day they left the entire border & immigration issue get so far out of control. But then, those people will belong to the new government that tells them all what to do & believe!
