I spent the last 10 of my 24 years in the USAF overseas in Spain (3) and Turkey (7). My family and I made two month-long European trips via Eurail. We also went to Syria twice. I went on three visits to Samara (Camapa), Russia.

Except for border crossings and passport control, I was never stopped on the street in any of the countries I visited and asked for my identification.

Except for ‘legal’ stops/inquiry by law eforcement, I have NEVER EVER been stopped on any street in any city in any state I’ve been in here in the United States.

I’m not afraid of being stopped and questioned about my citizenship status. I ALWAYS carry at least two forms of identification with me—a Texas driver’s license and my retired military I.D. card.

I’m PROUD to be an American….please stop me so I can show all how proud I am to be an American!!!

Only ILLEGAL TRESPASSERS are ‘afraid’ of being questioned about their citizenship status!!!
