Obama’s ridiculous claim that the economy can be stimulated from the bottom up has been refuted many times. Remember the luxury tax the Democrats passed in the 90′s? The Democrats, in their ideological pursuit of the evil rich, imposed a tax on so-called luxury goods to punish(?) the rich for their good fortune, hard work, or whatever it was that made them rich. But who was it that really suffered? The rich? No, of course not. The industry that became the example for the Democrat’s folly was the yacht building industry. After the tax was imposed many wealthy patrons canceled existing orders and others didn’t place them at all. Yacht building in Europe picked up as orders that would have gone to US builders went to foreign builders instead. So who was hurt in the Democrat’s envy motivated attack on the rich? It was the blue collar workers who built, painted, outfitted, finished, sold, upgraded and maintained yachts for the rich.

How many Liberal voters owe their jobs to someone with more talent, more drive, and more initiative then they have yet want to restrict the ability of the rich via taxes to create additional businesses to employ the mere mediocre?

Liberalism is for the weak minded, the below average, the covetous, the lazy, and the corrupt.

Giving money to the poor through a one time stimulus check will not in the end produce anything because it is a “one time” event. It is not a long term stimulus like a tax cut would be.

Obamareidpelosi’s plan WILL fail. It’s just a question of time.
