I find this stimulus vs. spending argument ridiculous, not to mention profoundly disingenuous. All spending stimulates the economy, all stimulation of the economy requires spending. The two are one and the same thing.
No, Glenn. The two are not one and the same. Not even close. There are many ways to stimulate the economy without spending – cutting taxes being the most obvious. The relaxation of regulations is another. There are many different methods of providing economic stimulation. On top of that, not all spending is equal in terms of its stimulative effect, contrary to the moronic Keynesian idea of just burying jars of money for people to dig up.
But, it’s good to see someone who thinks that the idiot messiah knows anything about anything.
P.S. He doesn’t. The idiot messiah is, indeed, an idiot.
