The assertion that people who are paying an over-15% tax on their meager incomes don’t pay income taxes is simply stupid.

What are we going to hear next? That only people who fill out the 1040A are “true” taxpayers, and those that file the 1040 and 1040EZ are not?

Every dollar borrowed and spent paying government idiots to prevent Louisiana from protecting its coastline is a travesty. Whether that dollar gets paid back using the “payroll tax” that the single mom who works at Wal-Mart would have used to buy new shoes for her kids, or the “AMT” that the CEO would have used to buy new table linens for his second yacht.
