Often attributed to the Iron Lady (but apparently said by Chris Patten of the Tories): “The facts of life are conservative.”

I would have thought that Obama et al were trying to lower actual debt by making the dollar worth less than toilet paper–how cities got out of debt in the revolting 70′s–but even they have not increased the money supply enough to encourage hyperinflation. Yet. Any thoughts?
