25 I still live in France and have done so for 15 years, did you ever get really sick? Were you self employed? Because salaried workers have better health care than the self employed (thus I have better coverage than my husband so I insure our children), and the government workers have even better coverage! Did you know that the French hospitals love sick Americans because they bring in outside money( I do not understand that, but a local doctor explained that to me)? No there are some good things about socialized medicine, but not as many as the medical care that I recieved back in Minnesota, even though my parents were self employed, and I was mostly part time help at university…
