As a lifelong conservative and free trade advocate, I find this distasteful to say. The concenses of what I read here is that to conserve on oil we need to keep the price high and have a stronger dollar. Does this mean most of you would like to see a $1 to $2 dollar fuel tax increase, like Europe, to raise the price? Then use the tax money to buy back those loans we have taken from offshore to strenghten the dollar.
