The problem is that Bush and company came into office with an R behind their name but they followed the same Keynesian policies that the new batch with the D behind their names want to follow. Until recently they were somewhat restrained, but no more. So with 16 years of Keynesian stimulus we have destroyed the gains made by the previous 12 years of the Reagan revolution. Now we are poised to go all out in the final test of this great experiment. I don’t think even Wyoming will be safe from the catastrophe to come.
