Alas, those glimmers of hope are now, at least temporarily, overshadowed by the grim news that the Supreme Court has decided to endorse the leviathan that is government unlimited: ObamaCare, at least the core of it, stands by a vote of 6-3.  There will obviously be much wailing and gnashing of teeth about this by those who cherish individual liberty and are, like the Founders, suspicious of untrammeled state power.
