How about real preference to free enterprise? How about leting the companies that made the wrong decisions fail? This is the point of free enterprise - the companies that make bad decisions get wiped out. What you are supporting is still a socialism.

Socialist Democracy?

Socialism is a state of affairs in which people are forced to act against their own best interests and the best interests of the vast majority of their fellow citizens. The only way such a system can persist is through tyranny. Functional democracies comprised of an informed electorate do not tend to move towards socialism, and those who do quickly recoil.

It never happens all at once. But, slowly, inexorably, we will wake up one day in France. How sad!
