Both Democrats, and Republicans are at blame for the USA's financial woes, that's why nobody wants to talk about it. First with "the community reinvestment act" passed by Carter, then NAFTA sponsered by Tom Daschel (D), Newt Gingrich (R), and Signed into law by Bill Clinton (D). Then companies like Walmart shipped all the jobs overseas.
Then Phil Gramm (R) introduced the GRAMM - Leach - Blilley ACT that got rid of the Glass Steagal ACT (Regulation on banks). This bill was sponsered by Tom Daschel (D), Newt Gingrich (R), and signed into law by Bill Clinton. Then ACORN used it to encourage banks to sell subprime mortgage loans along with the "community reinvestment act". NOW GOOD BYE USA, and hello UNITED NATIONS! That's it in a nutshell.

"Voters are stupid. There is nothing new being revealed here. Voters will go to the politician who makes the biggest promises regardless of the costs to the productive class."

Coming in kind of late, but I agree completely w/ you. It's sad that it's come to this. Voters must inform and arm themselves with knowledge before they go out to cast their ballot. Unfortunately, people don't seem to care anymore. They want to vote for people who they can relate too.. unfortunately, just because you can relate to the person does NOT mean that they are fit to run the country or hold public office for that matter..
