Hey, Prog, I agree. It was pinful to watch. I liked the article that surmised that she is possibly being over-coached. Too much high-level info. Info overload.

They should just train her to admit gracefully when she doesn't know. Politicians, for some reason, think they have to know everything. They don't; especially VP candidates. She should just say that the VP job IS conducive to OJT. She could flatter them by taking notes "as a guide to which area to study up on next."

I notice that they don't ask her much about the fields she does know. They ask her how McCain would do things, rather than about her own ideas. Maybe she'd do better, maybe she wouldn't, but I'd rather have some better insight into how she's done things; how she came to her decisions. Ask a bit about her strengths, instead of just probing for her weaknesses. The whole process is gotcha, rather than giving insight into the workings of her mind, or seeking balance.

I get it. They smell blood and go for it. It's bigger, somehow, if they can tear her down. They trap her into these things by circulating the nonsense that she has to give onterviews. She doesn't. McCain should have simply disenfranchised the media regarding her, because she will never get a fair shake.

I just read the instructional proposal that's ... you know ... the subject of Roger's post? It's ... well ... sickening. State mandated views of homosexuality and sexual development being drummed into pre-pubescent kids. Obama's defenders lied, as usual, when they said it was just about telling kids "not to talk to strangers."

HOPE & CHANGE.

Wadsy: I meant that Obama is a leveler as all socialists and communists are levelers. They want social and economic engineering through a general leveling of society. Not only is such a Quixotic quest against human nature, it is against God's Law. So I absolutely agree with you, the last thing this country needs is a socialist in the White House.

We must protect the Deserving and see that they prosper, for the good of all. That is exactly what the White House is trying to do right now! Pray they succeed.

KD: A leveler??? Does that mean if Obama is elected that I will have the same life style as all the hollywood celebrities. You mean me and Barbara Streisand will have equal money in our checking accounts. No KD - what the last thing this country needs is a socialist in the white house who thinks putting everyone on an equal playing field- social equity is cool. Kind of like you do.

Well said, Wadsy!

Better no health care then the same health care as everyone else!

What the left won't admit is that in America if you work hard and are self-reliant, you can easily afford the health care, the home, and the car or truck OF YOUR CHOICE! And if you can't afford health care, pay your mortage, or drive a Hummer it's your own damn fault!

We've become a nation of whiners.
The last thing this country needs is a leveler like Obama in the White House.
