I REALLY do NOT want to do THAT again. Every little 20-something dip@-*t to whom I explain the Carter years just gets glassy-eyed; they have no frame of reference for what a disaster that man’s term was. Sometimes I suggest we can start playing Carter Years right now and that I’ll be “inflation” and all they need to do is give me 15% of their paycheck right off the top. Haven’t had any takers for that one, but it does evince a look of panic.
