“85,000 people” – CNN

I think MSM has over stated the situation. It was a fair night at best.

Obama is the new “Pet Rock” to be sold to audience (Maybe with considerable outside investment).

The MSM stacked the deck with more people than expected via a rock concert after Obama’s diatribe.

I am not sure what the people will remember more: a snake oil speech by Obama or, the voice of Cheryl Crow and loud music.

[Pawn of the Oppressor notes]

“Y’all know Cheryl Crow was putting on a free concert at the stadium tonight? After the Big O finished up one of the show hosts on whatever channel I happened to have on, pointed out there were something like 84,000 people at the stadium tonight! I thought “hhmmmm, that is an impressive number” and started to compare it with numbers I remember from various rock concerts I had attended…”

[Pet Rock Fad]

“The first Pet Rocks were ordinary gray pebbles bought at a builder’s supply store and marketed as if they were live pets. The fad lasted about six months, ending with the Christmas season in December 1975. During its short run, the Pet Rock made Dahl a millionaire.”
