I believe the reason why Obama was not properly vetted by his own party is because the people who run the party wanted him to be THE candidate. That means Soros, Dean, Pariser, Moulitsas, Huffington, et al. Once he was off and running, they didn’t want it to stop.

The only way to get a candidate who is a socialist/Marxist elected to the Presidency is to do it by stealth, which they are in the process of trying to make happen. Unfortunately for them, it is not going to be completely by stealth, as in the blogosphere many of us have had access to information and reporting that is factual, if not covered by the mainstream media. By the latter’s connivance Obama’s campaign and candidacy remains partly stealthy.

If I were McCain I would campaign as if I’m the underdog and take nothing for granted. Leave no stone unturned, because right now the Left is stronger in its appeal than it has ever been. I think it is lapping its high water mark, so I would not underestimate those people at all.

It is entirely fair that all of Obama’s past be put under a microscope and examined. He has been less than forthright about so much that to not do a searing examination of him, his activities, and his associations is severely remiss.
