Obama has been an major candidate since the beginning of the year. You would have thought someone would have looked at the period 1995-2001, a time when Obama served on the board of the CAC and started asking him questions about it. A few evasive answers, and then it would be time to go to the files. This should have occured in February and Obama would have been properly vetted by his own party.
This did not happen, so it’s up to Kurtz, Diamond and the media to report when Obama’s campaign uses strongarm tactics against those who want to investigate.
